Our ferments

The recipes we employ at The Harvest Pantry hold true to time honoured methods for making the best, most delicious nutrient dense and nourishing sauerkraut, kimchi and pantry preserves. As third generation fermenters (yes, our parents and grandparents fermented too) we uphold the tradition of making small batch, handmade, lacto-fermented sauerkraut and kimchi using locally sourced and/or organic produce. Each batch is prepared with the deepest care. Infusing old world recipes with new world flavors, we have created four insanely scrumptious ferments to elevate your dining experience and nourish your gut! Our kraut and kimchi is always fresh, never pasteurized, so it’s brimming with active cultures, living enzymes and outstanding flavour.
